Nyota Stories – Inside the Life of Scouting in East Africa

What Nyota Stories Is

Nyota Stories is our way of opening the door into the real world of youth scouting in East Africa — the places we go, the people we meet, the challenges we face and the moments that remind us why this work matters.

Nyota Stories is not polished marketing or corporate communication — it is real, unfiltered insight from the places we scout.

Through Nyota Stories, we show what it truly means to scout across Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda — not only in the biggest cities or the most visible tournaments, but also in the remote villages, the dusty pitches, the school competitions and the football communities that rarely appear on anyone’s radar.

Why We Created Nyota Stories

Nyota Stories exists for three reasons:

  • 1. To demonstrate our deep regional insight

When we say we scout across East Africa, we mean it. Our stories show the places we visit, the environments we work in, and the football cultures we engage with. They are proof that our scouting is grounded in real presence — not just video analysis or second hand information. Nyota Stories shows clubs and agencies that we are not observers from a distance. We are there. Every year. Everywhere.

  • 2. To share the reality of life as a scout in East Africa

Many football fans dream of becoming scouts — and for some, Africa is the ultimate adventure. It sounds romantic, and sometimes it is: breathtaking landscapes, magical football moments, unforgettable people. But there is also the other side: three days without a shower, long bus rides through the vast countryside, tournaments that start three hours late, and pitches where cows walk across the halfway line. Nyota Stories captures all of it — the beautiful, the strange, the funny and the challenging. It is the behind the scenes world that most people never get to see.

  • 3. To tell the human stories behind the talent

East Africa is full of extraordinary people: players with incredible potential, coaches who dedicate their lives to youth development, local scouts who work tirelessly with limited resources, and football communities that breathe passion into every match. Their stories deserve to be told. By sharing them, we hope to bring more attention to a region that is rich in talent, ambition and football culture.
